Darryl Edwards, PhD, is an expert in psychological probes, a technique that he pioneered and has utilized across healthcare, consumer products, and wide array of industries. Dr. Edwards is considered the "Father" of ValueCentered Psychology®, and is a recognized leading authority on human values, motivation, decision-making and quality-based outcomes. He has also been recognized as a leader in research design, statistical analyses, and program development for corporations, education, healthcare, and governments since 1968. He has consulted with not only leading businesses, but has also consulted with the government in the US and abroad including Russia, China, and the Vatican. His business clients have included the Fortune 5000 as well as small specialized companies.
Dr. Edwards was selected as one of the Leading 2000 Scientist of the 20th Century by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England and the American Biographical Institute, Raleigh, NC.
Darrel Edwards, Ph.D., NASA-F (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Fellow), ABPP (Board Certified, Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology), FACCP (Fellow, American Academy of Clinical Psychology) and S-ASQ (Senior, American Society for Quality), F-IGS (Fellow, Institute of General Semantics, 1968), founded Strategic Vision in 1972 (incorporated in 1989). Dr. Edwards received his BS (1965), MS (1967) and Ph.D. (1968) from Brigham Young University. Following be completed a one year Post-Doctoral Fellowship appointment from the Public Health Service at the Pennsylvania State University. He then completed a teaching internship at the National Naval Medical Center and the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. He then directed the Decision Branch of the Naval Medical Neuropsychiatric Research Center, San Diego as a LCDR, USN, 1970-1978. In 1972, he was invited by the Department of Defense to establish a center for research and health care for the community in San Diego for State and National programs.
